Eastern Sierra Double

Post interesting or unusual activities here

This was the best time ever for me on a double (11:50).

A great, very scenic ride -- but very hot with a strong headwind for the last 40 miles. Still recovering.

Some pictures taken mostly while riding:

Rob, that was pretty fast ride. I, too, did my fastest DC and finished at 13:05 at Eastern Sierra. My Edge started acting wonky after Sagehen rest stop and I reset it at the Benton, so some of the elevation and tracking is off for a few miles. Your active riding time is about 20 minutes sorter than mine, but I wasted more time at the stops.

Note to self... grab and run.

The last 20 miles were long and hot and windy.

Steve,

Nice ride!

It sure seemed to me like the last 40 miles were painful/long/hot/windy -- even before Benton I was suffering. But it was definitely the worst at the end.
