Ascent 1.2.8 released - a few new features, and many fixes

Please back up your Ascent document files before installing any new version.

Changes since 1.2.6:

- added preferences to control checking for updates
- fixed bug with max speed in the browser and marker panels in Activity Detail not showing metric values
- updated "Example Activities" document
- fixed problem with some changes in the browser not triggering a save prompt when document closed

1.2.7 (Beta testers only)
- fixed bug where 'max speed' was not being converted to metric units when it should have been
- re-arranged main menu for clarity
- added items to the main "help" menu to go to the Ascent web site and Forum
- added new "auto-update" scheme, and "Check for updates..." menu item in the help menu
- changed to "drag-and-drop" installer

1.2.7 Beta 1 & 2
- fixes for problems with data calculations when GPS was turned off/on without reset between activities or activity segments
- more 'data tuning', especially for moving duration/speed/pace
- "Notes" can now contain carriage returns (in the "Info" window of the main browser)
- the first line of "Notes" can now appear as a column in the browser
- enhancements to the Summary View:
--- made vertical rulers appear on either side and not scroll
--- added 'moving duration', 'moving speed', 'average pace', 'moving pace', and 'total calories' choices
--- settings are now saved in the preferences
- added new "Appearance" preferences:
--- color choices used to display 'moving speed', 'average pace', 'moving pace', and 'total calories' in the summary view
